Agents,
The XM network is constantly shifting, and with it, the paths of those who shape its future. We are preparing to introduce two new in-app items that grant eligible Agents autonomy over their identity and alignment within the Scanner: the Codename Token and the Faction Token.
These items are exclusively available to Agents who have reached Level 4 (70,000 AP) or higher. Available in the in-game Store for 15,000 CMU each, both tokens are subject to a 90-day cooldown between purchases.
Agents who choose to use these tokens will retain their current Agent Level, current AP, lifetime AP, and full item inventory. They will not be reset to Level 1.
With a Faction change, Portals, Resonators, and Mods deployed by the Agent prior to the change remain aligned to the previous Faction. With a Codename change, those deployments automatically update to reflect the new codename, and the previous codename becomes permanently unavailable to that Agent and all other Agents.
Please note that the existing option to choose a new Faction upon achieving Agent Recursion remains unchanged.
