July - September 2023 Events Schedule: Ctrl

XM investigations in 2023 will continue with Ctrl. To earn the Ctrl Anomaly medal, Agents must interact with at least five (5) Battle Beacons deployed at any of the nine (9) Anomaly sites by NIASection14. Agents are considered interacting with a Battle Beacon if they:

• Deploy or Upgrade Resonator (note: upgrading your own Resonators does not count)
• Attack or Destroy Resonator
• Destroy Portal Mod
• Destroy Link
• Recharge Resonator (note: this includes Remote Recharge)

July Events

1 July: First Saturday (#IngressFS)

• Register through Fev Games

9 July: Second Sunday (#Ingress2S)

• Event takes place from 00:00 to 23:59 LOCAL time
• Complete any 6 unique Ingress Missions to increase your Second Sunday medal by 1 count

15 July: Ctrl Anomaly (#IngressCtrl) - Primary Site: Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia; Satellite Sites: Bandung, Indonesia and Rotenburg a.d. Fulda, Germany

August Events

5 August: First Saturday (#IngressFS)

• Register through Fev Games

5-13 August: Level 8 Week

• 8 levels of challenges (removed @ 10 Jul)
• APEX effect increased to 3X AP from 2X AP
• 2X deploy L8 Resonators
• Drone cooldown reduced to 8 mins
• Each successful Glyph earns 80 AP
• Links shorter than 8km in length can be created under Fields
• Overclock Glyph Hack duration increased to 80 seconds

13 August: Second Sunday (#Ingress2S)

• Event takes place from 00:00 to 23:59 LOCAL time
• Complete any 6 unique Ingress Missions to increase your Second Sunday medal by 1 count
• Alternatively, complete the Second Sunday Agent Ops to increase your Second Sunday medal by 1 count (removed @ 10 Jul)
• Note: fulfilling both criteria will not earn Agents a second count (removed @ 10 Jul)

19 August: Ctrl Anomaly (#IngressCtrl) - Primary Site: Oslo, Norway; Satellite Sites: Charleston, WV, USA and Songpa, Seoul, South Korea

On Ingress 2sDay

The Ingress 2sDay #Ingress2sDay events feature a double AP bonus every Tuesday, 6pm to 7pm local time until further notice.

On Ingress Second Sundays

The Ingress Second Sunday #Ingress2S events were introduced to encourage exploration and adventure, and we are ready to expand the idea by adding more variations to the ways you may earn this medal. While doing 6 unique Missions will still suffice through September, Agents could be asked to meet a different set of challenges starting from October onwards.
