From October to December, Agents can take part in the Cygnus Anomaly Season, competing across multiple Events to earn the most Season Points for their Faction.
In addition, by taking part in some of these Events, Agents will have multiple opportunities to earn medals.
Cygnus Season Medal (3-tiered): Awarded based on participation in Ingress First Saturday events, completion of Daily Bounties, and performance in the Cygnus Global operations, free Dispatch operations in the Season and Shard Storms.
Cygnus Global Battles Medal (3-tiered): Based solely on performance during the Cygnus Global Battles.
Cygnus Global Deploy Medal (3-tiered): Based solely on performance during the Cygnus Global Deploy.
The Cygnus Season Medal features three tiers, claimable via the “Cygnus Rewards” Campaign:
Gold: Unlocked at 24,000 Cygnus Tokens
Silver: Unlocked at 12,000 Cygnus Tokens
Bronze: Unlocked at 6,000 Cygnus Tokens
Agents may earn the Cygnus medal by accumulating Cygnus Tokens through the following means:
Daily Bounties from 1 October to 31 December
Earn 10 Cygnus Tokens by completing each Daily Research Bounty
Earn 10 Cygnus Tokens by reaching each Daily Research Bounty milestone
In-person First Saturday Events
Earn 2,500 Cygnus Tokens per month by attending and checking in with an onsite IFS organizer
Dispatch Operations
Earn up to 2,000 Cygnus Tokens from each of these free Dispatch operations in the Season:

A Cygnus Token Agent Stat will be added to your Agent Profile for the duration of the Cygnus Anomaly Season to help you monitor your individual progress.
The “Cygnus Rewards” Campaign will run from 1 October at 0000 UTC to 31 December at 2359 UTC. This Campaign will enable Agents to claim their Season medal and earn additional item rewards as they gain increasing amounts of Cygnus Tokens.

The Cygnus Anomaly Season will take place during the months of October, November and December 2026.
Listed below are ways Agents can contribute to their Faction’s victory, and work towards their medal, during this period.
Daily Bounties
Where: Global
When: 1 Oct 2026 00:00 local time to 31 Dec 2026 23:59 local time
Details: Complete a variety of Bounties, delivered daily via Dispatch.
Season Points: N/A
Cygnus Tokens: Claim 10 Cygnus Tokens from each Daily Bounty completed, and 10 Cygnus Tokens from each milestone.
Cygnus First Saturdays
Where: In-person First Saturday Events. Apply to host yours via Fev Games.
When: 3 Oct 2026, 7 Nov 2026, and 5 Dec 2026
Details: Attend and check in at an onsite IFS event.
Season Points: Each verified attendant earns their Faction 0.1 Season Point. The total Season Point earned per Faction is capped at 750.
An individual Agent’s Faction is determined at the time the IFS medal is awarded.
Each Agent will only be credited once per month, regardless of how many IFS events they attended that month.
Cygnus Tokens: Verified Agents will receive 2,500 Cygnus Tokens, alongside their IFS medal tick, by the end of the month.

Season Points: 105 Season Points per site, 6 sites per weekend
Cygnus Tokens: Hack a Portal where a Shard is present to earn 2,500 Cygnus Tokens. Reward limit: 2,500 Cygnus Tokens per Event Day, up to 3 times per Season.
Cygnus Anomaly Season Scoring
The final outcome of the Cygnus Anomaly Season will be based on the total Season Score accrued by each Faction from all of the above components, and the Faction with the higher final score will claim the Season.
