The NIA is on the cusp of a breakthrough. A new Scanner function, codenamed “Dispatch”, is ready for field testing, and we need your help.
Successful completion of the inaugural Campaign during the field test period will be rewarded with the appropriate tier of the classified Field Test: Dispatch medal.
FIELD TEST PARAMETERS:
- START: 23 August 2024 (Fri) 10:00 local time
- END: 2 September 2024 (Mon) 10:00 local time
- LOCATION: Global – Agents may participate from ANYWHERE
- TASKS:
- Access “Dispatch” in your Scanner to receive six (6) encrypted Assignments representing the “Field Test: Dispatch” Campaign
- Each Assignment contains four (4) Bounties. Complete at least three (3) to unlock the next Assignment.
- Bounties may include, but are not limited to:
- Hacking Portals
- Earning Overclock Hack Points
- Capturing/Recharging Portals
- Deploying/Destroying Resonators
- Deploying Mods
- Creating/Destroying Links/Fields
- Uploading Portal Scans
- Claiming Kinetic Programs
- Completing new Missions
REWARDS:
- Field Test: Dispatch Bronze: Awarded upon completing the second Assignment.
- Field Test: Dispatch Silver: Awarded upon completing the sixth Assignment.
- Item & AP Rewards: Available for completing each Bounty and all other Assignments. Restarting the Campaign upon completion will unlock alternate rewards.
CAUTION:
Dispatch utilizes experimental Scanner capabilities. Unforeseen side effects on XM-sensitive individuals and Scanner malfunctions are possible. We rely on your expertise to help us push the boundaries of XM technology.
Overclock Hack Points function as follows:
- 5 Overclock Hack points for each successful Reality Calibration, and a 1x multiplier on the points for completing a correct Glyph sequence, as listed below. Failed Calibration results in a 0.25x multiplier on the below Glyph sequence points (rounded up).
- 1 Overclock Hack points for getting all Glyphs correct on a 1-Glyph Overclock sequence
- 2 Overclock Hack points for getting all Glyphs correct on a 2-Glyph Overclock sequence
- 4 Overclock Hack points for getting all Glyphs correct on a 3-Glyph Overclock sequence
- 8 Overclock Hack points for getting all Glyphs correct on a 4-Glyph Overclock sequence
- 15 Overclock Hack points for getting all Glyph corrects on a 5-Glyph Overclock sequence
- If an Agent achieves successful Reality calibration, but does not successfully complete a Glyph sequence, they will earn the Overclock Hack points for the calibration (5 Overclock Hack points)
- If an Agent does not achieve Reality calibration, but successfully completes a Glyph sequence, they will earn the Overclock Hack points for the Glyph sequence (up to 4 Overclock Hack points: 15 points from a 5-Glyph sequence * 0.25, rounded up)
- A successful 5-Glyph Overclock Hack with successful Reality Calibration may earn an Agent 20 Overclock Hack Points
With the launch of the Dispatch feature, the NIA has evaluated and revised the rewards for ongoing Daily Assignments to align with Agent requirements and future events.
The changes will be implemented in September 2024.
