NIA researchers have identified a localized resurgence of the Nemesis signal signatures. This temporal echo, designated Nemesis Challenge Redux, provides a month-long window to intercept the returning energy of three banished operatives: Myriad, Umbra, and Courier.
Procedures
From May 1, 2026 (18:00 UTC) to June 1, 2026 (18:00 UTC), the Dispatch system will host three concurrent Campaigns. Completion of these Bounties will allow Agents to earn or upgrade these specific medals to the Gold tier. Agents who already hold the Gold medal will get an upgrade with the prestigious Recursion Wing.
Nemesis Redux: Myriad (Free): Track the Myriad signature through Portal Hacks and Unique Portal Hacks. Completing the initial stage upgrades the Myriad medal and yields up to 3,000 Orion Tokens; refer to the Orion Season Overview for the Tokens required to advance each Orion Season medal tier.
Nemesis Redux: Umbra (15,000 CMU): Investigate Umbra’s shadow traces through Resonator Deploys. Saturating the network with energy allows Agents to upgrade their Umbra medal or get the Recursion Wing as the Portals hum with her shadowy resonance.
Nemesis Redux: Courier (15,000 CMU): Catalyze the Courier’s mission by shattering hostile Resonators. This destruction interposes his journey across worlds, allowing Agents to secure the Courier medal or Recursion Wing.
Tactical Environment Tuning
To facilitate these operations, the NIA has authorized several global Scanner recalibrations for the duration of the event:
- Reduced Portal hack cooldown patterns
- Experimental tuning for XMP Bursters and Portal Shields deployed during the event window*
- 2X AP bonus on deploying a Resonator, destroying a Resonator, capping the 8th Resonator slot
- Bonus AP for Unique Portal Visits
Note: Portal Shields that were previously deployed before the event window are not affected by the Nemesis experimental Shield tuning.
Be advised: Machina activity is expected to surge as these banished signatures grow stronger.
Tips: Field analysts recommend utilizing the “Visited” Portal Layer in the Scanner. These visual filters are the most efficient way to identify unvisited locations of interest for the Myriad Redux objectives.
